Get up and running.

Download the AeroShift files

Start by downloading the AeroShift Configuration App and the AeroShift SimHub Profile.

The firmware file is only needed when updating the controller firmware.

Connect AeroShift

Connect the AeroShift controller to your Windows PC using the USB connection.

Windows should automatically recognize the controller. Leave AeroShift connected while completing the remaining setup steps.

Install SimHub

AeroShift uses SimHub to receive live telemetry from supported racing simulators.

If SimHub is not already installed on your computer, download and install SimHub before continuing.

Launch SimHub after installation.

Enable Custom Serial Devices

In SimHub, open the plugin settings and make sure Custom Serial Devices is enabled.

This allows SimHub to send the telemetry data used by the AeroShift controller.

Import the AeroShift SimHub Profile

Locate the AeroShift SimHub Profile ZIP file that you downloaded earlier.

Extract the ZIP file before attempting to import the profile.

Open Custom Serial Devices in SimHub and import the AeroShift profile contained inside the extracted folder.

After importing the profile, select the COM port assigned to your AeroShift controller.

The AeroShift profile uses a baud rate of 115200.

Windows assigns COM ports individually, so the COM port saved in the downloaded profile may not match the port assigned on your computer. Always select the port assigned to your AeroShift controller.

Install the AeroShift Configuration App

Locate the AeroShift Configuration App ZIP file that you downloaded earlier.

Extract the ZIP to a folder on your computer.

Open the extracted folder and run the AeroShift application.

Do not run the application directly from inside the ZIP file.

The current AeroShift application is not digitally signed, so Windows may display a SmartScreen or security warning. If this occurs, select More info and then Run anyway.

Connect the Configuration App

With the AeroShift controller connected by USB, launch the AeroShift Configuration App.

The application should detect the AeroShift controller automatically.

Wait until the application shows that the controller is connected before changing settings or performing an update.

Configure airflow

The AeroShift Configuration App allows you to adjust the vehicle speed at which AeroShift reaches maximum airflow.

A lower value causes AeroShift to reach maximum airflow sooner as vehicle speed increases.

A higher value provides a wider range of airflow before maximum output is reached.

Adjust the setting to your preference and save the setting to the controller.

The setting is stored by AeroShift and remains saved after the system is powered off.

Firmware updates

AeroShift firmware updates are provided in the Downloads section as BIN files.

Download the latest firmware file before beginning an update.

With AeroShift connected, open the AeroShift Configuration App and use the firmware update section to select the downloaded BIN file.

Begin the firmware update and allow the process to finish completely.

After the update completes, allow the controller to restart and reconnect before continuing.

Start SimHub

Open SimHub and verify that the AeroShift Custom Serial Device is using the correct COM port.

Make sure SimHub recognizes the racing simulator you intend to use and is receiving live telemetry from the game.

Test AeroShift

Launch your racing simulator and enter a driving session.

AeroShift airflow should increase and decrease as vehicle speed changes.

Directional airflow should respond to vehicle movement and lateral acceleration while driving.

If both airflow speed and direction respond correctly, setup is complete.

Troubleshooting

If the AeroShift Configuration App does not detect the controller, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, wait a few seconds, and reopen the application.

If SimHub does not connect to AeroShift, verify that Custom Serial Devices is enabled and that the correct COM port is selected.

If AeroShift connects but airflow does not respond while driving, verify that SimHub is detecting the running simulator and receiving live telemetry.

If a downloaded ZIP file does not work correctly, make sure you extracted the ZIP before opening the application or importing the files inside it.

If AeroShift was disconnected while SimHub was running, reconnect the controller and verify the COM port before starting another driving session.
